Laundry

Life presses on...and laundry continues to pile up. Holy cow! I just get "caught up" and suddenly I'm wading 3 feet deep in MORE dirty laundry. I guess that is just one of the many "benefits" of having a larger-than-two-member family.

I am grateful that the snow has melted some...not so grateful that part of our patio roof has caved in. But, as always, I am reminded that much worse could have manifested during the record snowfall (like my poor friend whose roof caved in and she is now living with a gaping crack in her living room ceiling).

The kids are happy and healthy and we have a new member of the Schneider family..."Daisy" our little Lhasa/Bichon/Toy Poodle pup. The cutest flippin' thing you've EVER seen...doesn't bark. Her poop is little. Her pee is little. She can't knock us down or chew the furniture. The perfect pet. Actually, we attribute the acquistion of Daisy to the loss of Annabel's pet rat, Abby. It was a sad day in the Schneider house the day Abby died. So...mom and dad decided to try to make it up to the kids. With a new, hardier pet to love. By the way, this all coming from a self-proclaimed "non-dog" person...especially little dogs. But, Daisy is different. : )
